Workers intalling a water pipe into the ground at Webster and Lombard Streets.The water main construction on Union Street between Green and Lombard streets is progressing on schedule. We appreciate the patience of the Union Street merchants during the extra day of work on Saturday, January 17th. The weekend work was necessary because MUNI is not able to take the electrical buses off-line during weekdays. Meanwhile, the sewer construction on Webster between Broadway Street and Pacific Avenue is reaching its final phase.
