Two-way traffic is maintained on Broadway Street while repaving continues. To complete the final water main construction, the contactor is repaving Broadway between Webster and Laguna streets and expects to finish this Friday.
Other construction activities next week:
1. Vallejo / Franklin & Van Ness:
* Vallejo from Gough to Van Ness
* The contractor will test 8-inch water main this Friday and next Monday and excavate the connection on Tuesday
* The Water Department will chlorinate and make connections to residents from Tuesday to Friday.
2. Broadway/Octavia and Pacific/Steiner
The contractor will make the 24-inch water main connections between these two locations
all week.
3. Scott / Jackson & Clay
* The contractor continues potholing, followed by chlorinating lines and making connections at Scott/Clay to Pacific /Fillmore all week.
* Scott / Washington & Clay – Continues installing electronic devices to monitor water quality this Friday and next Monday.
4. Filbert / Mason & Columbus
Water main trenching work begins next Wednesday through Friday.
5. Vallejo at Larkin
Begin excavating trench, laying 24-inch sewer pipe, and installing a new manhole.
