Just a reminder for nearby residents in the area that Shaw Pipeline Inc. will work at the intersection of Larkin and Union this Saturday. There will be traffic control but residents can expect occasional traffic delay as heavy trucks and equipments will move in and out of the area.
Please keep us more closely updated on the
ReplyDeleteUnion St repairs (betw Larkin & Hyde).
The latest SFW posting was August 21st,
and today is Sept 13, there is mammoth
construction going on at this locale, and
no recent information on your site. Thank you.

Thanks for your comment. Since the work on Union Street has now crossed over into District 3, we have been updating our District 3 blog with construction information. Here is a link to the District 3 Blog: http://sfwater.org/district3. We apologize if this has caused some confusion. We will now include the work on Union Street on the District 2 blog as well.
ReplyDeleteAs you will see on the District 3 blog, the contractor will be working at the Union and Hyde streets intersection the next two weekends. Weekends are the only time MUNI can can take electrical buses off line so that construction work can proceed at this intersection. After the tunneling work under the cable car tracks has been completed, the contractor will install and connect a 24-inch water transmission line, which will take about a week.
Thanks for your interest in the Water System Improvement Program.
