Driveway Restoration Underway at Vallejo between Franklin and Van Ness

The work crew started restoring driveways Tuesday morning.

As part of the final phase of the combined water main and sewer replacement, and street renovation, driveway restoration is now underway on the north side of Vallejo Street between Franklin Street and Van Ness Avenue. Here is the schedule:

* Tuesday 8th: Driveways reconstruction on the north side of Vallejo between Franklin and Van Ness. Driveway will be accessible.
* Wednesday 9th: Pour curb. Driveway will be accessible.
* Thursday 10th: Pour driveway. To allow the concrete enough time to dry up, the garages will NOT be accessible to the residents between 8 am to 6 pm.

Please make arrangements accordingly. If you have special needs or an emergency situation, the inspector on site will work with you. You may also call Ben Chan of SFPUC Communications at 415-554-3284 or 415-306-4592. Driveway restoration for the opposite side of this block will be scheduled very soon.

  3. University Mound is the city's second largest drinking water reservoir. It supplies the water to this area of the city, in fact to most of the eastern part of the City. The project in your neighborhood, North University Mound System Upgrade, refers to the pipelines that are connected to that reservoir's distribution system.
